A little about us!

Hello!
We are the Jeppson family, Aerika, Nick, and Lily! We live in West Jordan, Utah. Aerika is a stay at home mom with a dog walking business on the side. She loves animals, Broadway, and cooking. Nick works for Goldman Sachs in their personal loan department. He loves basketball, Guitar Hero, and eating what Aerika cooks ;). Lily will be 2 in September 2020! She loves Moana, animals, and dancing. Just ask her to get low and she does!
Overall, I, Aerika, will be writing this blog and making the recipes and Nick will serve as an editor and a backboard off which I can bounce ideas. He will be trying all the meals with me. Lily will be here to try all the food we make and let us know if she likes it as well! Most of the time she is less picky than we are so she may enjoy the meals more than us!
Last week, we saw a video where a girl was trying new foods from all over the world and we decided that would be a great idea! We compiled an alphabetical list of all the countries in the world and then numbered them. As we go, we will use a random number generator to choose the countries we will try! Our goal as of right now is to make one meal from a new country every week. At that rate, this will take us a few years to complete so we may bump it up to more than one meal a week eventually. Each country will get its own blog post with fun facts as well as the recipe we chose and how we liked it. We will try to make the meals as close to the recipes as we can but due to some ingredients not being available and living on a budget, we may have to change the recipes a bit to make them work.
We are excited to try new foods and learn more about other countries! We hope you enjoy taking this world tour with us! We will be posting a new blog weekly with the new meal we are trying. The goal is to have them published every Sunday!
